FEATURED IN MONMOUTH HEALTH & LIFE
The Face of Personalized Therapy
I’m honored to be featured in Monmouth Health & Life’s 2026 Faces of Monmouth issue, highlighting my personalized approach to therapy and my work helping clients navigate life transitions, health changes, and unexpected chapters.
A supportive, collaborative approach to therapy
I'm Liz Walter, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker providing in-person therapy in Shrewsbury, New Jersey and virtual therapy throughout New Jersey and Florida.
I work with adults who may be navigating a major life change, dealing with stress or uncertainty, coping with illness or loss, or simply trying to figure out what comes next.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive and strengths-based. I don't believe there is one right way to do therapy or one solution that works for everyone.
Instead, I work with each client as an individual. Together, we look at what is happening in your life, what feels difficult right now, what strengths and resources you already have, and what you would like to be different.
Sometimes people come to therapy because something specific has happened. Other times, they simply know they feel stuck, overwhelmed or ready for a change.
You don't need to have a diagnosis or even know exactly what you want to work on before getting started. Therapy can be a place to sort through those questions.
One of the things I value most about this work is helping people recognize strengths they may have lost sight of and find practical ways to move forward.
I genuinely love the work that I do and the opportunity to support people through both difficult periods and times of growth and transition.
